Under the Regulations made by His Excellency the Governor on the 23rd. day of April, 1910, under Section 2 of the Wireless Telegraphy Ordinance, 1909, (Ordinance No. 4 of 1909), with regard to the use of Wireless Telegraph Apparatus in merchan ships, Permission is hereby granted to Fred. J. Halton, Agent at Hongkong for the Pacific Mail Steamship Company and Toyo Kisen Kaisha, to use Wireless Apparatus on the above Company's steam- -ships when in the Waters of the Colony, subject to the above mentioned Regulations and any other regulations that may from time to time be made by His Excellency the Governor.
This Permission is only valid until the 31st. of December, 1911, and is also subject to cancellation at any time by the Postmaster-General giving one month's notice.
Under this Permission the use of Wireless Tele- -graph Apparatus on ships within the waters of the Colony is confined to the time between 6 a.m. and 8. a.m. and 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and during these times signalling must immediately cease on a request being received to do so from one of His Majesty's Ships.
It is understood that assistance will be granted to the Postmaster-General im obtaining information as to signal- -ling the time of arrival of mail steamers at Hongkong.
